If a volume scattering layer is flagged by RG and CL both being
negative, these parameters will be interpreted as the
negative of the vertical and horizontal correlation
lengths of the volume inhomogeneities. In this
case 4 more parameters should be added on the same
line to completely describe the spatial statistics:
D CC CS AC AS RO RG CL SKW DIM RMS GAM
with the significance:
- SKW
- Skewness angle of the correlation ellipse in degrees. 0.0
represents no skewness. Angle measured positive downwards.
- DIM
- Fractal dimension for power-law spectra. Insignificant
unless option g was specified.
- RMS
- RMS of relative sound speed perturbation
for
volume inhomogeneities.
- GAM
- Ratio
of relative density perturbation to sound speed
perturbation,
